Welcome

Originally from North Carolina I started my tattoo career in the Bronx of New York City in 2006 after I got out of the Army. I literally started off in the gutter in tattooing, and through absolute obsession, I've managed to climb from there to better heights. In NYC I became a dad to an awesome daughter while keeping myself focused intensely towards solidifying a strong foundation in tattooing technique and design. This also motivated me to attend a number of  art educational workshops and tattoo related seminars as a continuing effort to cultivate my abilities further still. However, despite all the experience, knowledge, and skill sets I had acquired I still felt like the need for more, and in 2011 I left NYC to pursue a fine art degree at the Academy of Art University (AAU) located in San Fransisco, California. By 2015 I had earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts (BFA) with a primary focus in drawing and painting. Afterwards, I continued to stay in California's East Bay area for a few more years till finally in 2020 I felt the call for home. It was then I decided to move back to my roots in Fayetteville, North Carolina. I am still located in Fayetteville with the love of my life, my wife, still continuing to push the envelope in my art, and also still a resident artist at Chop Shop Tattoo & Piercing.
